Premier League Leg 3 Round Up

general

What a cracking day for a shoot with fantastic weather for the time of year and looked amazing in the warm Spring sunshine. Ground manager Mark Marshall set an interesting course over 14 stands with angles and speed rather than distance catching many shooters out. However, as always there was some superb shooting on display, with Honesberie Team shooter Martin Myers securing the High Gun honours with 96 ex 100 just one ahead of Owls Lodge’s Richards Faulds and Southdown’s Matt Peddle.

In the handicap stakes, George Howling's (Barrow Heath) and Darren Stanford's (Cambridge) scores of 89 and 86 respectively earned them maximum points of 100 with their handicaps applied, so well done to them too.

Once again the teams all fought hard to achieve the highest top ten scores and this time Team Cambridge came out on top with 932 ex 1000 - huge congratulations to them. By this stage in the League (and time of writing) we’ve had three different teams taking the top spot at the first three fixtures, so there’s absolutely everything still to play for going forward.

The next leg is at on the 21st May and promises to be another great shoot, so we look forward to seeing you there.
